The OMEGA LIGHT from ISOCELL, is an extremely diffusive vapour permeable roof/wall underlay for installation directly onto the face of the thermal insulation or wood sheathing and is suitable for ventilated facades (walls) and ventilated pitched roofs.

Basis of Appraisal

The following tests have been carried out on the Omega Light Roof Underlay in accordance with AS/NZS 4200.1:

Resistance to dry delamination
Resistance to wet delamination
Shrinkage
Folding endurance
Tensile strength
Edge tear resistance
Resistance to vapour transmission
Resistance to water penetration
Surface water absorbency

*A range of these tests were completed both before and after the Omega Light Roof Underlay was exposed to UV light.

The flammability index of Omega Light Roof Underlay has been evaluated in accordance with AS/NZS 1530.2.

OMEGA LIGHT boasts a unique composition that delivers exceptional strength, tear resistance, and puncture resistance. The actual MD edge tear resistance that was recorded during the third-party test, was a resounding ~three times of what is required to pass AS/NZS4200.1. The tough fabric composition ensures the underlay withstands harsh weather conditions and potential on-site abuse during the construction phase.
